Como chegar ao Jacaré
Fica em Cabedelo, cerca de 20 a 30 minutos de carro da orla de João Pessoa, dependendo do trânsito. Aplicativos de transporte atendem bem a região.
Most visitors come under their own steam and pick one of the floating or riverside restaurants, which look straight onto the river.

The high point is the sunset, so the time shifts through the year — generally between 5pm and 5:40pm. Arrive at least an hour early: the best spots fill up quickly, especially in high season.
Going earlier also lets you take a boat and watch the sunset from the middle of the river, which is the finer version of the experience.
What to expect
It is a late-afternoon outing, not a full day. The usual combination is to arrive mid-afternoon, eat something by the river, watch the Boléro and head back to the seafront for dinner.

Uma forma barata de chegar
The CBTU train line from Santa Rita to Cabedelo has a estação Jacaré, and the fare is R$ 2.50. Anyone who would rather not drive, or pay ride-app prices on the way back — which is when they climb, with everyone leaving at once — can take the train in at least one direction.
The caveat is frequency: for much of the day the train runs hourly, and the last one leaves early. Check the timetable on the CBTU site before counting on it for the way back.
