Where is Tambaba beach?

In the municipality of Conde, on the south coast of Paraíba, about 30 to 40 kilometres from João Pessoa. By car, between 40 minutes and an hour on the PB-008.

Como chegar a Tambaba

By car along the PB-008, leaving João Pessoa towards Conde. It is some 30 to 40 kilometres, and the drive takes 40 minutes to an hour depending on the final access stretch.

There is no convenient regular bus service for holidaymakers. The trip is best by rental car, ride-hailing app or tour — and it can be chained with Coqueirinho and Tabatinga on the same day.

Como funciona a divisão da praia

Tambaba has a textile area, where swimwear is worn as normal, and a naturist area, separated from the first by a rock formation and by signs on site.

In the naturist area there are rules of conduct posted at the entrance, and they are worth reading before going down. The strictest of them: photographing and filming are forbidden without permission — including with a phone.

O que esperar da estrutura

Facilities are simple: kiosks with food and drink, without the beach-club scale other beaches in the region have. In high season there are usually lifeguards.

There is no fee to enter the beach. Private car parks nearby may charge for a space.
