By car or ride-hailing app along the BR-230, heading towards Cabedelo. The beach is on and around Rua Carolino Cardoso, right beside Ponta de Campina — barely a kilometre separates the two.

Facilities are bars and kiosks, with umbrellas and chairs for rent at affordable prices. It is a beach used all year round, not only in summer.

A água calma favorece stand up paddle e caiaque; também há jet ski e windsurf no trecho.

Boats leave from here for Areia Vermelha island. Worth knowing, though, that most catamarans and the fullest trip infrastructure are at Praia de Camboinha, just over two kilometres away.

How long to set aside

Half a day is enough. Being so close, it is the Cabedelo beach that best combines with another outing on the same day — the Santa Catarina fortress is minutes away, and the Jacaré sunset closes the day.
